Did not want to wait for Amazon - went to Bed Bath & Beyond and got one. Why they’re selling them I can’t explain. The cats are already running around waiting for it to make noise again.

The way I justified it was I decided not to take my phone upgrade - 5C to 6S. That’s $300 or more I don’t have to spend. Waiting for the iPhone 7 in a year. Somehow, I’ll survive.

Ugh. I’m right there. The mrs. and I have 5s and they are both slowly dying. We’re eligible for upgrades but pulling the trigger on the 6S will be tough.

SigOther has a 6 Plus - almost too big. My 5C is perfectly adequate - it’s a 5S with a plastic back the same color as Kermit. If you can get a new one cheap, it’s a good way to go.

The Plus is too big for my pocket and would still get lost in the wifes casm known as a “purse”. She’s set on the rose gold 6s and I’ll probably go silver. I hate doing this shit every 2 years. I want my Startac back.

The Plus is not necessary unless you want to watch a bunch of movies - watched part of From Russia With Love on it, and it’s great. But how often are you going to watch an entire movie on your phone? Not likely. The 6S is as high as I’d go, but I’m not going to waste money when I have a perfectly serviceable 5C.
